Job Description
Nextera Robotics seeks a Robotics and AI Software Engineer to advance autonomous navigation through planning and control software for the company’s mobile robot stack.
Responsibilities
- Play a pivotal role in building planning and control software for the autonomous mobile robot stack, with a focus on navigation capabilities.
- Participate in the development of robust navigation techniques for our new robot models.
- Collaborate with the engineering team in Boston to translate concepts into real products.
Requirements
- Experience with localization, planning, and/or controls for drones or mobile robots in academia or industry.
- Strong background in computer science, mathematics, or physics.
- Excellent programming skills across relevant languages and tools.
- Familiarity with simulation tools to model and test robotic systems.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities for cross functional collaboration.
