Senior Software Engineer

The Senior Software Engineer will join Torch Technologies to support the Software Integrated Product Team (IPT) under the TMAS2 Tenants contract on Eglin AFB, FL. This onsite role focuses on developing and integrating software solutions that streamline acquisition processes.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a software engineering team to design, develop, and implement systems that support acquisition workflows.
• Assess the design, development, testing, and maintenance of software applications, tools, and interfaces that enable efficient acquisition processes.
• Work with stakeholders to gather and document requirements, including functional, allocated, and product baseline specifications.
• Manage the integration of software systems with existing acquisition platforms.
• Review and improve documentation related to software systems, processes, and procedures, such as user manuals, technical guides, and training materials; identify gaps and provide recommendations for reorganization or content additions.
• Oversee testing plans and procedures to ensure software systems meet requirements and are free from defects.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams, including acquisition and logistics, to verify that software meets requirements.
• Ensure software systems comply with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards, including cybersecurity and data privacy requirements.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Master’s degree in computer engineering, computer science, or an equivalent discipline.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in computer engineering or an equivalent field; an additional 2 years of relevant experience may be substituted to satisfy the degree requirement.
• Secret clearance within the last 5 years with Top Secret eligibility.
