Senior Software Engineer (X++)

Senior Software Engineer (X++) at Shamrock Foods Company is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining software and systems that support internal operations and external customers. This role requires on-site presence in Phoenix, AZ, three days per week.

Responsibilities

• Design, modify, develop, write, and implement software applications that satisfy internal business requirements or serve external customers.
• Document and sustain software functionality, including break/fix activities and ongoing improvement efforts.
• Execute the full software development life cycle from planning through delivery and maintenance.
• Produce well-structured, testable, and efficient code for complex solutions.
• Mentor Level I and II associates and support onboarding processes for new team members.
• Leverage extensive experience and judgment to plan objectives and achieve project goals.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to meet evolving business needs.

Requirements

• Master's degree with four or more years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor’s degree with five or more years of relevant experience, or seven or more years of equivalent experience.
• Four or more years of technical, analytical, or development experience implementing Dynamics AX ERP software.
• Microsoft Dynamics AX Certification (or equivalent ERP certification).
• Experience with Agile development processes, methodologies, and tools.
• Proven experience working with database technologies.
• Strong critical thinking skills and ability to design and execute advanced solutions.
• Solid knowledge of X++ and of Application Integration Framework (AIF).
• Experience with SSRS reporting.
• Multi-site implementations are a plus.
• Experience in Manufacturing, HR/Payroll, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, or General Ledger is a plus.
