Senior Software Engineer (X++)
Job Description
Senior Software Engineer (X++) at Shamrock Foods Company is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining software and systems that support internal operations and external customers. This role requires on-site presence in Phoenix, AZ, three days per week.
Responsibilities
- Design, modify, develop, write, and implement software applications that satisfy internal business requirements or serve external customers.
- Document and sustain software functionality, including break/fix activities and ongoing improvement efforts.
- Execute the full software development life cycle from planning through delivery and maintenance.
- Produce well-structured, testable, and efficient code for complex solutions.
- Mentor Level I and II associates and support onboarding processes for new team members.
- Leverage extensive experience and judgment to plan objectives and achieve project goals.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to meet evolving business needs.
Requirements
- Master's degree with four or more years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor’s degree with five or more years of relevant experience, or seven or more years of equivalent experience.
- Four or more years of technical, analytical, or development experience implementing Dynamics AX ERP software.
- Microsoft Dynamics AX Certification (or equivalent ERP certification).
- Experience with Agile development processes, methodologies, and tools.
- Proven experience working with database technologies.
- Strong critical thinking skills and ability to design and execute advanced solutions.
- Solid knowledge of X++ and of Application Integration Framework (AIF).
- Experience with SSRS reporting.
- Multi-site implementations are a plus.
- Experience in Manufacturing, HR/Payroll, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, or General Ledger is a plus.
