Job Description
Temporary Stationary Watch Engineer with Power Generation Experience for a Maryland hospital campus central utility plant.
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor equipment to provide Chilled Water, Hot Water, Steam, and Electricity on a 24/7 rotating schedule across a Maryland hospital campus central utility plant.
- Manage in-person operation across multiple buildings, ensuring continuous service for mission critical facilities.
- On duty, control and optimize equipment performance to meet facility demands while enhancing overall plant efficiency.
- Maintain compliance with Maryland State emission regulations and adhere to Client policies, procedures, codes, regulations, university and government directives, plus Contractor best practices and procedures.
Requirements
- Power Generation Experience Highly Desired & Preferred.
- Education: 4 Year Degree or Equivalent; High School diploma considered, college degree preferred.
- Communicate effectively in English, both speaking and writing.
- Able to work 7 days a week with occasional overtime in afternoons, evenings, and weekends as needed.
- Must be able to work varied shifts and be available on call as scheduled.
- Valid driver’s license (not suspended or limited).
- Good physical condition with ability to lift up to 75 lbs, fine motor coordination, and tolerance for exposure to dust, fumes, heights, and confined spaces.
- U.S. Citizen or approved registered alien.
- Ability to pass drug screening and Federal Government criminal background check with no felony records.
Compensation
- Hourly rate: USD 40 per hour.
