Expect up to 30% travel domestically and internationally to deploy and service solutions at customer sites and with collaborators.

Responsibilities

Gather and interpret resonance testing data from customer components.
Configure, implement, deploy, and provide ongoing support for resonance inspection solutions.
Assist in the design, manufacture, and evaluation of resonance testing systems.
Test, assess, and troubleshoot resonance inspection hardware and software.
Travel up to 30% domestically and internationally to client and collaborator facilities to enable solution deployment and service.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to support and expand resonance inspection solutions.
Research and improve hardware and methods for resonance-based nondestructive evaluation (NDE).
Design and perform experiments, parametric studies, and multivariate analyses.
Ensure compliance with the AS9100 quality system and contribute process improvements.
Adhere to FAA Part 145 Repair Station requirements and procedures.
Prepare written reports and proposals for internal and external communication.
Deliver presentations for internal and external audiences.
Contribute to other activities as assigned.

Requirements

Ability to comply with a DoT/FAA drug and alcohol testing program.
Strong analytical mindset with data-driven decision making.
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
BS in Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, Mathematics, or Computer Science.
At least five years of full-time engineering, manufacturing, quality, maintenance, or related experience in aerospace, power generation, automotive, or similar industries.
Bonus: bilingual proficiency in Spanish is highly preferred.

Experience to highlight

Understanding of resonance, dynamics, and material behavior (metals, non-metals, AM)
Materials/metallurgy experience
Additive manufacturing experience
Experience in vibrations and/or dynamics
Experience in manufacturing and/or maintenance, repair and overhaul of aircraft engines or aircraft wheel and brake systems
Proficiency in ANSYS, COMSOL, Abaqus, or other FEM software
Proficiency in Matlab, Python, C++, or other programming languages
Proficiency in Solidworks, NX, PTC Creo or other 3D solid modeling software
Proficiency with Power BI in creating interactive dashboards that translate complex datasets into actionable business insights
