Data Engineer, Deal Intelligence & Automation
Job Description
Arlington, VA onsite role with a competitive compensation range of USD 154,600 to 209,100 annually. As a Data Engineer in AWS Global Data Services and Deals Platform (GDSP), you will design and maintain data pipelines, models, and platforms that enable deal intelligence and automation. You will partner with product management and engineering to deliver scalable, high quality data products and analytics.

Responsibilities
- Design and sustain the backend data infrastructure used by analytical and visualization tools, ensuring data is clean, fresh, and optimized for downstream consumption
- Translate business problems into technical data requirements in collaboration with product management and stakeholders to define data products to build
- Automate and optimize reporting to enable scalable self service analytics, reducing manual effort and accelerating insights
- Establish measurement frameworks and metrics that quantify deal execution performance and operational health
- Maintain data quality through monitoring, validation, auditing, and documentation of pipelines and data sources
- Leverage AWS services and generative AI to craft next generation data solutions that improve efficiency and unlock new analytical capabilities
Requirements
- 5+ years of data engineering experience
- Experience with data modeling, warehousing, and building ETL pipelines
- Strong SQL skills
- Proficiency in at least one modern scripting or programming language such as Python, Java, Scala, or NodeJS
- Experience mentoring teammates on best practices
