Job Description
Electric Utility SCADA Engineer role for Henderson Municipal Power & Light, based in Henderson, KY.
Responsibilities
- Administer the SCADA and Outage Management System (OMS) to sustain reliable electric utility operations.
- Perform ongoing maintenance of the SCADA and OMS to uphold system reliability.
- Provide technical support for the SCADA and OMS to ensure dependable utility operations.
Requirements
- Residency within 30 minutes response time from the Service Center Complex (1213 Barret Blvd, Henderson, KY).
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred).
- Regular and predictable attendance.
- Must pass a drug/alcohol screen, physical exam, and background check upon conditional offer of employment.
- Valid Driver’s License with no DUI convictions in the previous 5 years.
- Three to five years of experience maintaining, troubleshooting, and programming SCADA and OMS in an electric distribution/transmission utility environment.
