Responsibilities

• Collaborate across Agile squads to design, develop, test, implement, and support data engineering solutions using full-stack development tools and technologies
• Contribute to a team of developers with deep expertise in machine learning, distributed microservices, and full-stack systems
• Utilize programming languages such as Java, Scala, Python and open source RDBMS and NoSQL databases, along with cloud data warehousing services like Redshift and Snowflake
• Share a passion for staying current with tech trends, experimenting with new technologies, participating in internal and external technology communities, and mentoring other engineering team members
• Collaborate with digital product managers to deliver robust cloud-based solutions that enable millions of Americans to achieve financial empowerment
• Perform unit tests and conduct code reviews to ensure designs are rigorous, code is well-crafted, and performance is tuned

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree
• At least 4 years of application development experience (internships do not qualify)
• At least 2 years of experience with big data technologies
• At least 1 year of cloud computing experience (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud)
