Lead, Software Engineer
Job Description
This role centers on autonomous, collaborative full-stack software development for satellite command and control systems, leveraging web technologies, cloud capabilities, and modern DevOps practices.
Responsibilities
- Develop and integrate software for government systems using industry best practices and Agile methodologies.
- Provide ongoing development support for mission applications and frameworks.
- Collaborate within a DevOps oriented development team and leverage a technology-supported development infrastructure.
- Maintain deployed systems, build new capabilities, diagnose issues, and assist end users as needed.
- Demonstrate a proactive learning mindset and promote the adoption of innovative technologies.
- Mentor junior engineers on the job as required.
- Adapt existing baselines to new architectures.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field with a minimum of 9 years of relevant experience; or a Graduate Degree with at least 7 years of related experience; or, in lieu of a degree, a minimum of 13 years of related experience.

- Locations: Onsite in Colorado Springs, CO; also potential location in Chantilly, VA
