Senior Software Engineer
Job Description
Responsibilities
- Develop, enhance, and maintain applications within the Amplify platform, including trading systems, proposal tools, digital forms, and client-facing features.
- Design and build scalable backend services, APIs, and data integrations.
- Contribute to front-end interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks.
- Provide production support and participate in a rotating morning system check before market open.
- Collaborate within an agile team and work closely with engineering leadership to influence design, architecture, and engineering best practices.
- Uphold Amplify's core values and foster an ownership-driven engineering culture.
Requirements
- Minimum of five years of software development experience using C#/.NET or another object-oriented language.
- Comfort working across the full stack—including databases, APIs, back-end services, and front-end components.
- Strong SQL skills and solid understanding of relational database concepts.
- Experience with one or more modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue, Angular, etc.).
- Solid knowledge of software design principles, testing, and version control.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and strong communication skills.
- Proven track record delivering projects from concept to production.
- Education: BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
