Job Description

The Broadband Plant Engineer will plan and design outside plant fiber infrastructure to support Bartlett Electric Cooperative's growing broadband network, contributing to planning and construction of large-scale fiber projects. This full-time role offers compensation at USD 36 per hour.

Responsibilities

Create staking sheets and construction drawings, plus project documentation using Geographic Information Systems tools
Develop material inventories, cost estimates, and project timelines
Coordinate permitting activities including rights-of-way, easements, and road crossings
Collaborate with construction crews and contractors to ensure quality and regulatory compliance
Conduct field staking and maintain accurate fiber asset records

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in a related field
Minimum of five years of directly related experience
