The Sr. Cybersecurity Engineer protects enterprise technology environments by designing, implementing, and operating cybersecurity controls across IT and OT contexts, delivering threat detection, vulnerability management, incident response support, security architecture guidance, and risk assessment activities aligned with governance and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain cybersecurity controls to protect systems, networks, and data in line with governance and operational standards
- Lead vulnerability management activities, including support for scans, prioritization of findings, remediation coordination, and verification of corrective actions
- Assist incident response efforts, including triage, containment coordination, participation in root cause analysis, and post-incident follow-up
- Perform security monitoring and threat detection by analyzing alerts and events with internal teams and external partners as applicable
- Advise on secure design patterns, control selection, and deployment approaches to support secure architectures for IT and OT environments
- Strengthen IT and OT security objectives by enforcing IT/OT separation, network segmentation, and operational security controls in industrial settings
- Administer or support NAC governance and enforce access controls in accordance with standards and policy requirements
- Conduct risk assessments, including control reviews, framework alignment, and remediation tracking
- Support compliance activities through evidence collection, control validation, documentation, and governance participation
- Operationalize security governance by applying standards, procedures, and control requirements across relevant environments
- Serve as a senior technical resource for security engineering, covering advanced vulnerability management, threat detection, and incident response coordination
- Lead technical analysis during incidents, including containment recommendations, evidence review, and stakeholder coordination
- Perform security architecture reviews for systems and network changes, including IT/OT separation considerations and segmentation guidance
- Document risk assessments aligned to security frameworks and compliance requirements; track remediation milestones
- Provide guidance to others on policy enforcement, operational security controls, and monitoring best practices

Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in security engineering, threat detection, vulnerability management, and incident response
- Demonstrated capability supporting IT/OT separation requirements and network segmentation practices
- Experience conducting risk assessments aligned to security frameworks
- Familiarity with industrial cybersecurity concepts and exposure to SCADA, PLC, and HMI environments
- Ability to apply governance and compliance standards through operational controls
