Job Description
IDR Inc. seeks a Data Center Infrastructure Management Engineer III in Atlanta, GA (hybrid) to support and maintain mission-critical monitoring and control systems in data centers while overseeing automation systems, SCADA platforms, and Building Management Systems (BMS) to enable infrastructure upgrades.
Responsibilities
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance for mission-critical monitoring and control systems within data centers to ensure continuous operation.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot, analyze, and optimize power and cooling infrastructure, driving reliability and efficiency.
- Manage automation systems, SCADA platforms, and Building Management Systems (BMS) to monitor performance and implement control strategies.
- Ensure system reliability and performance through proactive maintenance planning, issue resolution, and root-cause analysis.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to support infrastructure upgrades and projects, aligning with project timelines and safety standards.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience supporting critical monitoring and control systems in mission-critical environments.
- Extensive data center infrastructure experience, with familiarity across electrical, mechanical, and environmental systems.
- Experience with EPMS and BMS systems to monitor, control, and optimize facility operations.
- Ignition SCADA platform experience strongly preferred, with hands-on configuration and troubleshooting skills.
- PLC programming experience to develop, modify, and maintain automation logic.
- Bachelor degree in engineering, with emphasis in Electrical, Mechanical, or related discipline.
