Electrical Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design electrical control panels and the associated field equipment
• Provide testing and troubleshooting guidance for control panels
• Prepare installation instructions for field personnel
• Specify bills of materials for control panels and related electrical designs
• Perform electrical load calculations and verifications to ensure safe operation
• Use AutoCAD LT or Eplan to develop ladder logic diagrams and component layouts
• Develop PLC programs
• Coordinate with cross-functional colleagues across the company

Requirements

• Associate's degree or equivalent experience
• 2 to 3 years of electrical or related experience
• Strong understanding of electrical systems and engineering principles
• Familiarity with electronics, sensors, and signal types (including 4-20 mA)
• Familiarity with design concepts, procedures, and tools
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to comply with UL508A, NFPA 70, and IEC standards
• Ability to read and design ladder logic diagrams
• Proficiency in English (speaking, reading, writing)
