Responsibilities
- Design electrical control panels and the associated field equipment
- Provide testing and troubleshooting guidance for control panels
- Prepare installation instructions for field personnel
- Specify bills of materials for control panels and related electrical designs
- Perform electrical load calculations and verifications to ensure safe operation
- Use AutoCAD LT or Eplan to develop ladder logic diagrams and component layouts
- Develop PLC programs
- Coordinate with cross-functional colleagues across the company
Requirements
- Associate's degree or equivalent experience
- 2 to 3 years of electrical or related experience
- Strong understanding of electrical systems and engineering principles
- Familiarity with electronics, sensors, and signal types (including 4-20 mA)
- Familiarity with design concepts, procedures, and tools
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to comply with UL508A, NFPA 70, and IEC standards
- Ability to read and design ladder logic diagrams
- Proficiency in English (speaking, reading, writing)
