Boeing Global Services in Oklahoma City is seeking Associate and Mid-Level Mechanical Systems Design and Analysis Engineers to work on tanker and commercial derivative aircraft. The role focuses on applying mechanical systems design and analysis to develop and modify installations and support proposals. Compensation ranges from USD 79,050 to 129,950 per year, with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering and at least two years of related experience required.
Responsibilities
- Assist in creating and documenting mechanical, fluid, and thermal environment aspects of systems.
- Contribute to the development, maintenance, or modification of system designs and proposals, providing design documentation and high-level requirements to downstream users and customers.
- Perform detailed design development and modification of mechanical and fluid system installations.
- Conduct spatial integration at the system or component level and support modification of mechanisms, landing gear, and ordnance systems.
- Aid in producing technical documentation for mechanical components and systems.
- Support proposal preparation and new business development efforts.
- Work under general supervision.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering with a focus on Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace/Aeronautical, or Materials Science.
- Two or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience.
- Experience troubleshooting aircraft systems.
- Experience with aircraft modifications.
