Job Description
This role centers on leading electrical design, analysis, requirements, and troubleshooting for vehicle subsystems and integration. The position is on-site in Oklahoma City, OK, with approximately 10 percent travel and collaboration across locations including Palmdale, CA and Whiteman AFB, MO as needed.

On-site in Oklahoma City, OK. Opportunities may arise at Palmdale, CA or Whiteman AFB, MO, with travel averaging around 10%.
Compensation
Salary: USD 93,300 - 213,400 per year
Responsibilities
- Design electrical wiring for functional systems, selecting aircraft-type conductors and electro-mechanical components such as connectors, relays, switches, circuit breakers, and terminal junctions.
- Contribute to design requirements for electrical power generation, conversion and distribution, and circuit protection for aerospace vehicle systems, including Electrical Loads Analysis, test procedures, power architectures, reports, analyses, and related deliverables.
- Own all aspects of system and component design and development, including trade studies, layouts, architecture definition, system test and verification, and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with a subcontractor management team and serve as the technical point of contact with suppliers for hardware development, qualification, and procurement.
- Plan system-level tests, provide execution support, verify results, process data, and troubleshoot issues.
- Conduct system-level evaluations to verify requirements and ensure airworthiness criteria are met.
Requirements
- Education and experience options include: a Bachelor’s Degree in a related STEM field with 5 years of electrical engineering experience; or a Master’s Degree in a related STEM field with 3 years of electrical engineering experience; or a PhD in a related STEM field with 1 year of electrical engineering experience.
- Experience in electrical design of air vehicle systems.
- Current, active US Government Secret clearance.
- Ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access (SAP), to be secured within a timeframe determined by the company to meet business needs.
- Advanced options include: a Bachelor’s Degree in a related STEM field with 8 years of electrical engineering experience; or a Master’s Degree in a related STEM field with 6 years; or a PhD in a related STEM field with 4 years of electrical engineering experience.
