Relocation assistance may be available for eligible candidates. The role requires onsite work in Rolling Meadows, IL, and travel up to 10 percent may be necessary.

What you’ll do

• Support the design and documentation of ruggedized electronic equipment for military applications
• Engage with multiple mechanical drafting skills, including CAD design, drawing creation, documentation updates, and library part creation
• Collaborate within a team that includes mechanical, electrical, and systems engineers, under senior oversight
• Contribute to the Hardware Engineering organization and grow professionally as part of a larger mission

What we’re looking for

• Bachelor's degree with at least 8 years of relevant experience, or MS degree with at least 6 years of relevant experience; or, without a degree, an additional 4 years of experience
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in mechanical design and drafting
• Proficiency with CAD tools such as Siemens NX, ProEngineer Creo, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA
• Experience designing parts for machining and strong familiarity with ASME standards
• U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain DoD security clearance
